Southern England Bucket List

As I mentioned in one of my five happy things posts, I've been feeling a bit depressed lately about how much work is taking over my life. I know it's just me having to get used to working full time, but with my shift patterns being so different to my friends, I'm a bit worried about when I'm ever going to have a social life.

I know I'm being silly and I'll definitely find the time to see friends at some point. This led me to think about what to do on my days off. I live in a really lovely part of the country, with a whole load of new places to explore and see. So I decided to write a 'Southern England Bucket List' of things I can do on my days off and when friends come to stay.

Not only will I get to see new things, but I'll have some interesting things to blog about! So here are a few of the things you can look forward to seeing blog posts about in the foreseeable future:

Visit the Isle of Wight
Go horse riding in the New Forest
Visit Weymouth
Visit Beaulieu
Visit Lymington
Visit Bournemouth
Visit Salisbury
Visit Brighton
Visit Marwell Zoo
Visit Highclere Castle
Visit Durdle Door
Visit Stonehenge
Visit the New Forest Reptile Centre
Visit Micheldever Woods to see the bluebells
Visit Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary
Visit Bradford-on-Avon
Visit Chawton
Visit the Jane Austen House Museum
See something at the Mayflower Theatre
Visit the Bombay Sapphire Distillery
Visit Mottisfont Abbey
See the Lavender Fields

I'm going to keep adding to this list when I see anything I want to visit. Do you know anywhere I should add to my list?

  1. Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little study on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch
