Turning 22

Last Friday I turned 22.

Thursday night I was treated to a massive chocolate cake from the house girls, along with some great presents. A scare pig, Fortnum and Mason tea, a Ryan Gosling colouring book and an amazing The Smiths t-shirt. They know me too well.

Eppie also out did herself and made us Quidditch beer pong and Battle Shots to play before our night out.

Of course, no birthday is complete in our house without the famous birthday sunglasses.

After our mini photo shoot we headed out.

Where I pulled out my sweet dance moves.

Quite a large chunk of my actual birthday was spent on an arduous train journey home to Wales, but when you're greeted by Marzie and your family, you can't really complain.

Mum had made me a cake, lemon my favourite.

Then it was time to open presents.

I feel like I'm at that age where I just want things for a house I don't own and food. Or is that just me?

Nevertheless, I still got some lovely gifts.

Although I think one of my favourites has to be this one.

I gave my Grandma this book for her 80th. The idea is you get the recipient to fill it out, and then once completed they give it back to you.

Grandma put so much effort into it and I cried (happy tears) several times. You should definitely buy one for someone, for yourself.

Fingers crossed 22 brings good things.

  1. Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little study on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch
