This post is for those of us who don't have a significant other, and are therefore spending today pretending to be strong, independent women, whilst secretly pondering over whether we'd prefer to be classed as a crazy cat lady or a crazy dog lady.
Innocent are one of those companies who I would love to work for. Every Friday I receive my newsletter saying what's been happening at Fruit Towers that week and I always have a good giggle.
This week on twitter, Innocent have started their Chain of Good. The idea is to start a chain of compliments amongst your friends. Think of those chain letters you sent when you were 13, just with less threats of clowns hovering over your bed at night.
My mission for you this week is to send an Innocent compliment to each of your friends and start your own chain of good. Take a look, there's some gooduns.
I love those weeks where you have several good days in a row. This week was one of those weeks.
We all had friends to stay from home and it was really nice to have a full house. We had a night out for my housemates birthday on Thursday where we played beer pong for the first time and I discovered my new favourite drink, amaretto with cranberry and raspberry juice.
Friday was spent sat on the sofa, eating a fancy hangover brunch consisting of croque monsieurs, orange juice and watching films.
Saturday was equally as good. We started off with a cup of tea at Fancie, before heading over to Graze Inn for lunch. We hurried back to the house ready to watch Wales win against Italy in the rugby before finishing off the day with a cheese board and watching The Bling Ring.
Today was a lovely sunny day for a change, so we decided it was too good to waste. We grabbed a salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks and headed for a walk around the Botanical Gardens and Endcliffe Park where we fed the ducks.
Now I'm settling down on the sofa ready to watch the Superbowl with the housemates. Red cups at the ready.
