It appears that the world and their wife are currently in love with Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish. Naturally, as soon as I saw the billions of 5 star reviews it has all over the internet I rushed to my local John Lewis store to pick some up.
I went for the 100ml Pump Starter Kit which was £14.25. Included in this was the cleansing lotion and 2 muslin cloths which were presented in a nice Liz Earle zip pouch.
To use the product itself is really easy, there's a little instruction card that comes in the kit and also step by step instructions on the website.
Firstly you use the cleanser on dry skin, wipe off the cleanser with the muslin cloth dipped in warm water and then splash your face with cold water to finish. Simple as that!
This is by far the best cleanser I have used to remove my make up. Being blonde I tend to wear quite a bit of mascara to make my eyelashes actually visible and as with everyone the thought of taking my make up off before getting into bed fills me with dread. However with this it's no hassle at all and I love that you can see all the make up coming off on the cloth. I'd recommend it as a make up remover alone!
As a cleanser I definitely saw an improvement in my skin after a week or so of using it. All my troublesome areas of skin seemed to clear up quite a bit which I was over the moon with. I think my skin definitely benefits from the two phase cleanse and polish routine, I have dry combination skin so the many moisturising and hydrating properties in the cleanser definitely work for me. My skin still isn't perfect by any means but this has definitely helped.
I'd say 100% go out and try it for yourself and see if it works for you. There's 10 different options to choose from on the Liz Earle website starting at only £3.25, so what's stopping you?
